Well we come to the end of an eventful year that has seen the club move to a new home. One of the highlights of the year was the bus trip out to Whitley Bay folk club and its hoped we repeat the idea and visit a couple of other clubs in 2012. The facilities we now enjoy at the Athenaeum club have been well used this December on our party come guest night when Jan and the girls did the grub and lovely it was too. Monkey moonshine were the last guests of the year and created a happy festive atmosphere to end the year on a high. Next year starts on January 3rd for the first sing around of the year. Kay and Ian will still be enjoying there trip to the states and I’m not certain if Jan and Mike will be back from there New year sortie to Knaresborough but I’m sure the rest of us will make good sound start.
