Things are rocking at the Foggy Furze Folk Club along at the Travellers’ Rest in Stockton Road, Hartlepool. Last week was so packed it was just real good fun and this week saw the launch of a new feature – ‘Jan’s Jukebox’. It starts next week all being well, we all know what we’re doing and it’s basically playing to our strengths.
Our next guest is to be Maggie Gee who is a great friend of the club and she appears on Tuesday, 13 July 2010. We were to have Joel and Friends but something’s cropped up and Maggie has stepped in to breach the gap. Thanks Maggie.
This Tuesday also saw the spotlight on our own Mike Hall with four well-selected pieces, two quite well known, two not so regularly heard but excellent choices nonetheless. Very well done Mike, everyone really enjoyed it.
